The Chinese Fan - Tuanshan

China is well known for the first culture who invented the fan as the oldest fan traces back to 3000 years ago. These earrings are inspired by the silk round fan ‘Tuánshàn’. There normal round shape is modelled after the moon- being a symbol for happiness. Painting the fan became an art form in itself.

Handmade with lightweight polymer clay, painted with acrylic painr and coated with resin. Decorated with luminous gold beads and matched with a handmade gold tassel. Made with 24 karat Gold Plated 925 Sterling Silver witch is durable, naturally hypoallergenic and easy to clean.
